At CIC Plus we focus on helping the environment by reducing our carbon footprint. In keeping with that initiative, we are pleased to announce our participation in Earth Hour 2012. On Saturday March 31, at 8:30 PM local time, please join CIC Plus in turning off your lights for one hour in support of Earth Hour 2012. Invite your family, friends, customers, vendors and other associates to get involved!
Earth Hour is a global WWF climate change initiative. It started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change. One year later, more than 50 million people across 35 countries/territories participated.
More than 5,200 cities and towns in 135 countries and territories worldwide switched off their lights for Earth Hour 2011 making it the largest climate campaign ever!
